NOVEMBER 4, 2022 – In a hotly-contested disability discrimination trial, partner Maurice Savoiardo won a defense verdict for the New Rochelle School District in Gamboa v. New Rochelle SD (Southern District of New York-Westchester courthouse).
Maurice deftly navigated a slew of claims plaintiff was not accommodated, as well as her termination claims. He demonstrated that plaintiff’s absences were completely appropriate for her supervisors to consider in denying her a tenured position as those were an essential job function.
