Tuere Rodriguez
Prior to joining MSSSV, Ms. Rodriguez was associated with prominent New York City and Long Island based Municipal and Insurance Defense firms. In addition to significant experience in all areas of Personal Injury, Ms. Rodriguez has developed specific expertise in Premises Liability and Sports Law matters. Her practice areas include complex negligence matters, contracts, sports law and general litigation. She is admitted to practice in New York and is an active member of the New York State Bar Association.
Ms. Rodriguez regularly provides a successful and cost-effective defense for her clients. In particular, she has achieved the following victories by way of summary judgment:
Schuleter v. Davin’s Funeral Home, Inc. et. al., 2014 WL 1620936 (N.Y.Sup.), 2014 N.Y. Slip Op. 31007(U): Ms. Rodriguez obtained summary judgment for a commercial property owner, arguing that the property owner did not owe a duty to the plaintiff.
Herrera v. WLG, LLC et. al., Supreme Court, Nassau County 0009573/2012: Ms. Rodriguez obtained summary judgment for an out of possession landlord, arguing that tort liability should not be imposed on the landowner for breach of its duty.
