Derek M. Zisser is a 2006 graduate of Hofstra University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History. Derek graduated from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2010, where he was a founding member and Vice-President of the Real Estate Law Society’s Foreclosure Assistance Program.
Derek has litigated matters involving all areas of tort liability including premises liability, products liability, property damage, sports/recreation liability, construction accidents, automobile/trucking liability, dram shop/liquor liability, pharmaceutical liability, Americans with Disabilities Act, insurance coverage and Workers’ Compensation maters. Mr. Zisser began his career at a boutique New York City firm concentrating in insurance coverage litigation, focusing on first and third party coverage disputes. Prior to joining MSSSV, Mr. Zisser was an associate at a downtown New York City firm, focusing on tort defense and general liability matters.
Mr. Zisser is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey. Mr. Zisser is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
