MSSSV Defeats Pregnancy Discrimination Claim

In January of 2011, MSSSV successfully represented the Port Chester School District against claims of pregnancy discrimination. We were able to show not only a history of accommodation of pregnancies at the
District, but we also fleshed out an incident with a non-party which served as the legitimate non-discriminatory reason for the teacher’s termination–after she had been informed she would be coming back for an additional year of teaching.
